Local notes

Camp set for July

The Jay County High School football program will host its annual kids camp in July.

The camp will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. July 16 through 19 at JCHS.

Cost is $25 and is open to kids entering kindergarten through eighth grade.

Forms are available at all Jay School Corporation buildings.

Ansonia race scheduled

The Ansonia (Ohio) Firecracker 5K is scheduled for 9 a.m. July 4.

The race will begin at 9 a.m., and registration is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. at Ansonia Schools, 600 E. Canal St.
