John Jay Center for Learning will host a Spring Speaker Series.

“Paranormal Investigations” will be the topic of the first series. It will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20.

There is no charge for the speaker series but reservations are required. Call John Jay at  (260) 729-5525 ext. 221 to make reservations.  



Village night  

Swiss Village will present Saturday Night at the Village from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Resonate 150 will perform in the auditorium. 

The husband and wife duo will play acoustic instrumental music on the marimba and hammered dulcimer with cajon and other accessory percussion.

South Adams play

The South Adams High School music department will perform the musical Bye Bye Birdie this weekend.


Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets can be purchased in the high school guidance office or at the door.

Art program 

A Make-It and Take-It art program will be held at Arts Place, Blackford County Arts Center in Hartford City.

The event is for children in kindergarten through sixth grade and will be a free art time from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Scholarship

Elijah Kahlig, Fort Recovery, recently was awarded an endowed scholarship at the University of Findlay (Ohio).

He received the Thomas B. Donnell Business Leadership Scholarship.
