Academy is accepting applications
The American Legion Department of Indiana is accepting applications for its Indiana Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Academy.
The academy provides experience and insight into the operations of law enforcement agencies and gives youth an opportunity to consider law enforcement as a potential career choice.
It will be held July 15 to 20 at the University of Indianapolis and the cost is $300.

Speaker series
John Jay Center for Learning will host a Spring Speaker Series.
The first topic will be “Paranormal Investigations” and will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.Call John Jay at (260) 729-5525 ext. 221 to make reservations.
