Loren L. Fullenkamp, age 76, of rural Portland passed away Tuesday morning at IU Health Jay.
He was born in Mercer County, Ohio, on Nov. 3, 1941, the son of Hugo and Matilda (Keller) Fullenkamp.
He was married May 21, 2010, to Barbara Wolfgang Grieshop, who survives.
He served with the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964. He was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion and was a 1959 St. Henry High School graduate.
He was a welder, having retired from New Idea. He also worked at Goodyear and Portland Forge, and was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife Barbara; two sons, Chris Grieshop (wife: Jodi), of Portland, and Jonathan Grieshop of Portland; two granddaughters, Hayley Grieshop and Carly Grieshop; four brothers, Ralph Fullenkamp (wife: Kathleen) of Fort Recovery, Romie Fulenkamp (wife: Marlene) of Bryant, Luke Fullenkamp (wife: Sharol) of Portland, and Matt Fullenkamp (wife: Deb) of Fort Recovery; five sisters, Madonna Sinks (husband: Leland) of Dayton, Ohio, Karen Berning (husband: Lester) of Greenville, Ohio, Eileen Hoying (husband: Don) of Greenville, Annie Brunswick (husband: Kenneth) of Bryant and Sylvia Stammen (husband: Matt) of Coldwater, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Fullenkamp, and a sister, Ruth Wendel (husband: Dale).
Private services will be held with Fr. Robert Moran presiding. Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery.
