Area schools will host a Fine Arts Night

Area schools will host Fine Arts Night.

East Elementary’s will be held on Tuesday and Judge Haynes will be Thursday. An art show will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. for kindergarten through fifth grade students. 

Nancy Shawver will have a story and craft time for kindergarten through second graders from 5 to 5:20 p.m. and from 5:30 to 5:50 for third through fifth grade at East Elementary and Judge Haynes will also have a craft time in the library. 

Drums, dancing and vocal performances by fourth and fifth grade students will take place at 6:30 p.m. in each school’s gymnasium. Students at East Elementary should meet in their classrooms at 6:15 p.m. Judge Haynes fourth graders should meet at 6:15 p.m. in the Speech room and fifth graders should meet at 6:15 p.m. in the lounge.  

An ice cream social will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at East Elementary with donations taken. 

Judge Haynes alumni are welcome to come and visit the school one last time before its closing at the end of the school year.
