An author of books about veterans will visit Jay County ahead of Veterans Day this month.
Kayleen Reusser, who recently completed the third book in a series highlighting stories and photos from World War II veterans, will speak at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Room at Jay County Public Library.
Reusser has compiled her books through interviews with veterans, most of whom are native Hoosiers or current Indiana residents. During her visit to JCPL, she will talk about her experiences interviewing veterans and the tour she took of World War II sites in Europe.
Other library events in November include drop-in sticker art from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and a do-it-yourself session about home winterizing at 6 p.m. Nov. 12.
A Friends of the Library meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20.
