Ivy Tech express enrollment scheduled

Ivy Tech students will have more opportunities for enrollment.

Ivy Tech Community College is holding express enrollment days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Nov. 15 at its Muncie campus at 4301 S. Cowan Road.

There will also be a session at the campus from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 29.

Enrollment for the spring semester is currently open, with classes set to begin Jan. 14.

Looking for assistance

The Mercer County Angel Tree Program is seeking help with purchasing gifts, volunteering or donating.

Angel Tree provided more than 2,500 gifts to area children last year. Those interested in helping this year can do so by purchasing gifts, volunteering time to shop and wrap or making a donation.

Those who would like to purchase gifts can request tags by calling Betty Leininger at (419) 586-1352. To volunteer with shopping on Dec. 6 and wrapping on Dec. 7, call Diane Martens at (419) 586-3645. Monetary donations can be sent to Our Home, 117 W. Fayette St., Celina, Ohio 45822.

Items needed

Volunteers at Arts Place are collecting items for the 36th annual holiday benefit auction, set for Friday, Nov. 16.

The auction, which regularly draws about 200 people to Goodrich Hall at Arts Place, will begin at 6 p.m. The doors will open at 5 p.m. so guests can browse through auction items.
