Ernest and Louise Fugiett celebrate 65th
Ernest and Louise Fugiett, 7928 W. 600 South, Redkey, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Monday.
E. Louise Eads and Ernest F. Fugiett were wed Nov. 26, 1953 at the home of the bridegroom’s parents. Rev. Russell Henry received their vows.
The Fugietts have lived in Jay County for more than 65 years and have been business owners in Redkey and Dunkirk.
They are now retired from farming and raising polled Hereford cattle.
They are the parents of Rodney Fugiett (wife: Lu Ann), Brent Fugiett, and Robin Cotherman (husband: Craig). They have 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
