Jean Bailey
Jean Ann Bailey, 74, of Dunkirk, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her residence Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018.
Jean was born in Bryant, Indiana, on Feb. 6, 1944, a daughter of the late Pearl Lucille (Pyle) and Eugene Ira Champ. Jean was a graduate of Redkey High School and former employee of EP Graphics and McDonald’s.
She was the widow of the late Robert M. Bailey, who she happily married on May 12, 1990.
Jean attended Freewill Baptist Church in Dunkirk, Indiana, and enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking shows, shopping and going out to eat with her friends and family.
Jean is survived by two brothers, David L. Champ (wife: Vivian) of Redkey, Indiana, and Ronald W. Champ (wife: Marsha Lynn) of Dunkirk, Indiana; four sisters: Dianna L. Bishop (husband: William) of Redkey, Indiana, Linda S. Clark (husband: Arthur) of Redkey, Indiana, Marsha E. Fuller (husband: Ronnie) of Dunkirk, Indiana, and Debbie M. Kummer (husband: Rodney) of Redkey, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl Lucille (Pyle), Eugene Ira Champ, Mildred D. (Tracy), and her husband Robert M. Bailey.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers Jean requested donations be made to Freewill Baptist Church in Dunkirk, Indiana.
Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries – Dunkirk Chapel.
