Lori Smith

Lori D. Smith, age 59, of Portland passed away Saturday at her residence.

She was born in Portland on Aug. 15, 1959, the daughter of Richard L. and Patricia A. (Arnold) Rector. She was married June 23, 1979, to James Smith, who survives.

She had worked at JCI and Sharon's Monogram, and waitressed at Kate’s Coffee Shop and Korner Kafe. She was a 1977 Jay County High School graduate.

Surviving are her husband James; one daughter, Jamie D. Bonvillan (husband: Glenn) of Bryant; one brother, Chris Rector (wife: Corina) of Geneva; and one grandson, Devon Nerone.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Green Park Cemetery chapel with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Green Park Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.
