Tammy Straley
Tammy S. Straley, age 48, a resident of Pennville, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at her home following an illness.
Tammy was born on Dec. 6, 1969, in Portland, the daughter of James “Hoss” Dale and Betty (Wright) Straley. She worked as a foreman for UTA in Berne and at the Bryant Truckstop.
Survivors include:
Her fiancé — David Enterline, Pennville, Indiana
Four sisters — Cheryl Ballance (husband: Richard), Huntington, Indiana, Barbara Gibson (husband: Bill), Portland, Indiana, Alice Imel (husband: Gregory), Portland, Indiana, and Melba Beaver, Portland, Indiana
One brother — Ronald Vance (wife: Sandra), Chiefland, Florida
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Betty Straley; three brothers, John Lee Vance, Rex Allen Vance and Jesse James Vance; and one sister, Louann Kay Vance.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pennville Chapel of Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Pastor Randy Davis will officiate the service.
Burial will follow at a later date in Antioch Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
