Barry Mills
Barry “Bo” Mills, age 64, of rural Portland passed away Monday after an extended illness.
He was born in Union City on Sept. 20, 1954, the son of John W. and Eileen R. (Nichols) Mills.
He had worked at J&P Custom Plating, Patriot Paints, Cochran Hatchery and Horizon Mobile Homes, all in Portland.
He was a member of Midwest Field Trials Association and Limberlost Coon Hunters Club, and was a 1973 Portland High School graduate.
Surviving are two sons, Lucas Mills of Lapeer, Michigan, and Dylan Mills of Ridgeville; three daughters, Missy Mills (husband: Todd) of Portland, Amanda Smith-Johnson (husband: Don) of Portland and Elizabeth Blowers (husband: Brad) of Bryant; four brothers, Terry Mills (wife: Carol) of Indianapolis, Wayde Mills (wife: Kim) of Portland, Steve Mills (wife: Julie) of Portland and Richard Mills (wife: Patty) of Marengo, Ohio; one sister, Connie Mills-Osborne of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to the Limberlost Coon Hunters Club.
