Stewarts celebrating 40 years
Gary and Diana Stewart, rural Portland, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday.
Diana Franklin and Gary Stewart were married Sept. 2, 1978, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland.
Lifelong Jay County residents, Gary works as an electrician for Franklin’s Electrical Service and Diana works at Smith Brothers of Berne.
They have four children: Jason Stewart, Melissa (husband: Eric) Stephen and Casey (wife: Lauren) Stewart, all of Portland, and Kerri Stewart of Fort Recovery. They also have 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
They will celebrate with a family gathering and dinner.
