Blackfords celebrated 60th anniversary
Ralph and Susan Blackford, 47 Sesame St., Portland, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary today.
Susan Beard and Ralph Blackford were wed on Sept. 7, 1958 at West Walnut Street Church of Christ in Portland.
Ralph is retired after a career in the U.S. Coast Guard, at Jay County Hospital, and as Wayne Township Trustee.
Susan is retired after a career at Sheller-Globe Corp. and Stewart Brothers Furniture in Dunkirk.
They have two children: Barbara Caster (husband: Bill) and David Blackford (wife: Jennifer), all of Portland.
The Blackfords will celebrate with a family dinner.
