James Godfrey

James L. Godfrey, age 77, of Swiss Village in Berne, and a former Portland resident, passed away Thursday morning in Adams County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Portland on July 25, 1941, the son of Leland and Ruth (Banta) Godfrey. He had worked for Bearcreek Farms.
Surviving are several cousins.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Wertenberger presiding. Burial will be in
Green Park Cemetery. Family will receive guests from noon to 2 p.m.
