Wendels to celebrate 50th anniversary
Ivo and Mary Lou Wendel of Fort Recovery will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 8 at Wendelin Sportsman’s Club.
Mary Lou Bruns and Ivo Wendel were wed on Oct. 5, 1968, in St. Rose, Ohio.
Ivo worked at Fort Recovery Equity and Mary Lou was an instructional assistant for Jay School Corporation. Both are retired. They have five children: Keith (wife: Kim) Wendel and Scott (wife: Joyce) Wendel, both of Fort Recovery, Amy (husband: Jeff) Bruggeman, St. Henry, Ohio, Chad Wendel, Geneva, and Jodi (husband: Calvin) May, Coldwater, Ohio.
