Screenings set at Adams hospital
Adams Memorial Hospital is having a mammography screening night to encourage people to be checked for breast cancer.
The event will take place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at the hospital, 1100 Mercer Ave., Decatur. Attendees will be offered mini massages, goody bags and refreshments.
The mammograms will be billed to the patients’ insurance. The hospital has also received an Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Grant to provide screenings to those in need of financial assistance.
A doctor’s referral is not necessary but patients must have an appointment, which can be scheduled by calling (260) 724-2145.
