Waechter should get a nomination
To the editor:
Because I am not familiar with the process, I urge someone out there to nominate Jim Waechter for Jay County’s annual Lifetime Achievement Award.
On the occasions I have talked with Jim regarding his involvement with Museum of the Soldier, he downplays it as “a labor of love.”
I feel it is time for Jim to be recognized for giving his time to a very worthy cause.

(Editor’s note: Anyone can make a nomination for the Lifetime Achievement Award or any of the other annual Jay County Community Awards. Nomination forms are available on Jay County Chamber of Commerce’s website at jaycountychamber.com. The deadline is Dec. 3.)
