Judy Votaw

Judy A. Votaw, age 79, of Portland, passed away Sunday evening, Sept. 23, at IU Health Jay.

She was born in Portland Aug. 17, 1939, the daughter of Ole and Mable (Theurer) Lutz. She was married in 1957 to Jerry Votaw and he died May 10, 2010.

She retired in 2000 from CTS in Berne.

She was a member of American Legion Post 211 Auxiliary.

Surviving are three daughters, Debra Baldauf (husband: Dale) of Portland, Angela Ingram of Portland and Rhonda Votaw of Portland; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Greg Votaw.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 27, at 11 a.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Dave McClellan presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m.
