Veryl and Betty Lyons celebrate 70th
Veryl and Betty Lyons, Portland, are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary today.
Veryl and Betty were married by the Rev. H.G. Perry on Sept. 25, 1948, at Methodist Church in Lightsville, Ohio.
They have lived in Portland for all of their married life and were the owners of Lyons Buick, Pontiac, GMC.
They are the parents of Bruce (wife: Gretchen) Lyons, Fishers, and Pati (husband: Bryce) McLaughlin, Portland.
The couple will celebrate with family at a later date.
