Permits issued for new construction

New construction projects totaling more than $5 million received permits in July and August from the Jay/Portland Building and Planning office.

The largest project was a $2.1 million plan by Kyle Nietfeld to construct two swine confined feeding buildings near 800 East and 400 South.
