Eliza Caldwell
Eliza “Dora” Caldwell, age 97, of Portland passed away Monday, April 8, 2019, in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare.
She was born in Portland on Dec. 15, 1921, the daughter of George and Arta Mae (Alberson) Mark. She was married Nov. 8, 1945, to Joseph Caldwell and he died Feb. 14, 1977. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 11, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Gil Alicea presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
