Ivy Tech Community College will be holding two Go Ivy Day events during the second half of April.
Events are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maring-Hunt Library, 2005 S. High St., Muncie, and from 1 to 4 p.m. April 24 at Kennedy Library, 1700 W. McGalliard Road, Muncie.
Prospective Ivy Tech students will be able to learn about admissions, financial aid, orientation and career services.

Free tests
Adams Memorial Hospital has received a grant allowing it to provide free mammograms for area residents.
Women with an income of less than 150 percent of the federal poverty level will be eligible to receive a free mammogram and diagnostic interpretation at the Decatur hospital. The service is available to residents of Adams, Jay, Wells and Allen counties and is being paid for by a grant from the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust.
Call the hospital’s central scheduling department at (260) 724-2145, extension 11045, to determine eligibility and to schedule an appointment.
Lunch scheduled
South Adams Senior Center will have its first of nine community luncheons in April.
The kickoff event will be at noon Wednesday, April 24. Lunch will be catered by Summer Kitchen and will cost $8. Entertainment will be provided by Ryan Hirschy and Brad Byerly. To RSVP by April 17, contact the center at (260) 589-8877.
Community luncheons will be on the third Wednesday of each month through December. The center is located at 825 Hendricks St., Berne.
Offering program
Swiss Village will offer its Summer Junior Volunteer Program this year.
The program places students ages 10 and older in volunteer positions at Swiss Village, Kinder Haus or Muselman Wellness Pavilion. It runs May 28 through Aug. 9.

Learn about ACE
“Adverse Childhood Experiences: Understanding the Impact and Building Resiliency” will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Indiana University Health Jay Hospital. Meridian Health Services, Prevent Child Abuse Council and the hospital are teaming with Indiana Youth Institute for the program.
Skye Berger, chief encouragement officer and executive creative coach of Door Opener Academy will speak about adverse childhood experiences that can lead to negative outcomes. Her talk will feature information from the Centers for Disease Control-Kaiser Permanente Adverse Childhood Experiences Study.

Celebration set
Cornerstone Center for the Arts in Muncie will conclude season with its Spring Celebration May 5.
The event will begin at 2 p.m. in E.B. Ball Auditorium. The student art gallery will be open from 2 to 5:30 p.m., and there will be improvisational belly dancing and martial arts class demonstrations at 3:30 p.m.
