Corina Boice
Corina Boice, age 57, a resident of Portland, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Indiana University Health University Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness.
She worked at Kitco in Bluffton and Walmart in Portland. She was a 1979 graduate of Jay County High School. She attended Ball State University in Muncie and Brown Mackie College, where she received an associate’s degree as a medical assistant.
Corina was born July 21, 1961, in Hartford City, Indiana, the daughter of Jerry and Carolyn (Wyatt) Bell Sr.

Her mother — Carolyn Bell, Portland, Indiana
Special friend — Bobby Trader, Dunkirk, Indiana
Three sons — Johnathan Boice, Portland, Indiana, Warren Boice (wife: Stacy), Farmland, Indiana, and Blake Boice, Bryant, Indiana
Two daughters — Katherine Marin, Portland, Indiana, and Myriah Whitacre (husband: Mike), Portland, Indiana
Two brothers — Jerry Bell Jr. (wife: Krystal). Portland, Indiana, and Timmie Bell, Portland, Indiana
One sister — Deanna Cline (husband: Trent), Portland, Indiana
Eleven grandchildren
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Arnold will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
Memorials may be directed to the family to assist in final expenses.
