Bruce Northam

It is with great sadness that the family of Bruce Leon Northam announces his passing on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at the age of 60 years.

Bruce, father, brother, son, uncle and friend, will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Candace; brother and sister-in-law, Maurice and Susan; and sister-in-law Maryann. Bruce will also be forever remembered by his nephews and nieces, extended family and dear friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father Charles, mother Doris and brother Carl.

Bruce will always be remembered as a proud father who taught his daughter some of life’s great lessons: how to bait her own hook and cast a fishing line, that the Chicago Bears are the greatest NFL team, that going to the track (Indianapolis Motor Speedway) is a must in May, how to properly grill a steak on a charcoal grill and that practical jokes and laughing are a necessary part of life.

Bruce was a kind-hearted man that enjoyed spending time with family and friends doing the things he loved. His infectious laugh and clever antics will never be forgotten.  

A private family celebration of Bruce’s life will be held.
