Fort Recovery FFA places 2nd at state
Fort Recovery FFA’s Wildlife Management Team placed second out of 72 teams recently in the State Wildlife Contest.
As part of the event, the team had to identify a variety of wildlife as well as industry equipment, and take a written test.
Team members were Tyler Gower, Preston Hoying, Cassie Poeppelman, Derek Siefring, Jacob Acheson, John Knapke, Mitchell Pugh, Ben Keller, A.J. Romer, Kim Hart, Bruce Heitkamp, Logan Homan, Kierston Hoying, Makayla Kaffenberger, Hannah Weigel and Ben Wellman.
Preventing
Adams Memorial Hospital is offering its diabetes prevention program beginning May 2. It consists of 22 one-hour sessions with mid-day and late afternoon options.
