FORT RECOVERY — The first-time champ had a tough time scoring against a team with 30 conference titles on Thursday as the Fort Recovery baseball team lost to the Coldwater Cavaliers 2-0 in a game shortened to five innings because of rain.
The Cavaliers (11-3, 5-0 Midwest Athletic Conference), who have more than three times as many MAC titles as any other team, scored the only run it needed in the first inning off Tribe pitcher Riley Post.

Fort Recovery (9-5, 4-1 MAC), which won its first conference championship last season, was not able to score off Coldwater’s Cole Frilling.
