Vicki Davis
Vicki Lynn Davis, 72, of Dunkirk, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019, while in the company of family members at her residence.
Vicki was born in Muncie, Indiana, on Sept. 24, 1946, a daughter of the late Helen Jane (Overmeyer) and Orval R. Bisel. She was a graduate of Dunkirk High School and retired from Franklin Electric.
She was a well-known woman who loved helping people and enjoyed painting, drawing, sketching, gardening, horseback riding, watching movies, with her favorite being “Rock of Ages,” watching TV shows “NCIS” and “Criminal Minds,” listening to The Beatles and David Bowie, and reading Anne Rice and contemporary Christian books.
She attended Redkey United Methodist Church and had a special connection with animals, especially her dogs Rio and Bowie, and a raccoon she named Tucker.
Vicki is survived by her daughter Tiffin High (Tray Nixon); sister Kim Bright; granddaughter Cammi High; niece Jackie Marshall (husband: Daniel); and two great-nieces, Dahlia and Magnolia Marshall.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries – Dunkirk Chapel.
