Kriegs celebrating 65th
Virgil and Rosie Krieg, Fort Recovery, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary May 5 with a Mass of Thanksgiving at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, and a luncheon for the family to follow. An open house will be held in the church undercroft that day from 1 to 4 p.m.
Rosie Knoth and Virgil Krieg were married on May 1, 1954, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony, Ohio.
The couple has eight children, listed with their spouses: Betty and Charlie Muhlenkamp, Bryant, Sharon and Joe Metzger, Nancy and Randy Wuebker and Judy and Kenny Thien, all of Fort Recovery, Jerry and Lisa Krieg, Lima, Ohio, and Roger Krieg, Janet and Mark Jacobs and Margie and Jerry Jacobs, all of St. Henry, Ohio. They also have 24 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
