ARCANUM, Ohio — Fort Recovery High School’s boys golf team picked up its first win of the season Friday, defeating the Tri-Village Patriots 201-228 at Beechwood Golf Course.
Grant Knapke was the match medalist for the second time in as many meets this year. He shot 44 to lead the Indians. Derek Lochtefeld also had a sub-50 round with his score of 49.
Carson Rammel shot 52, and Seth Lochtefeld completed the team total with 56.
Zander Kunkler (58) and Cole Muhlenkamp (60) also competed for Fort Recovery, but their scores did not factor into the team’s mark.
In junior varsity action, Russell Gehle led the all-Fort Recovery match with a 52. AJ Romer was second with 55 and Isaac LeFevre shot 64.
