Priority Plastics has made a new investment of more than $5 million in equipment, molds, training and technology for a new high-speed tight head machine to produce containers at its Portland plant.
Called”The Cyclone,” the new machinery greatly expands the plant’s capacity and be more cost competitive.
The plant produces PriorityPour Eco and light weight plastic containers using multi-layer technology allowing the company to reduce its environmental impact while meeting the same durability standards as its standard containers.
“The mold design supports light weighting and other eco-friendly product improvements as part of Priority Plastics commitment to develop sustainable plastic containers,” the company said in a press release.
