Richard and Mary Rice, 5685 E. Rio Verde Vista Drive, Tucson, Arizona, 85750, are celebrating their 60th anniversary today.
Richard Rice and Karen Laux were wed on Dec. 20, 1959 at Zion Lutheran Church, Portland.
Richard is a retired major in the U.S. Air Force. Karen is also retired.
Richard’s career in the Air Force required 15 household moves across the U.S. during their marriage.
They are the parents of Richard and Karen, Tucson, Arizona. They have four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter..
