Those looking for support in keeping up healthy habits will have a new option.
Mercer Health is offering the “My Health” pediatric, adolescent and family support group beginning this month.
The group will meet at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Mercer Health in Coldwater, Ohio. The discussion will revolve around healthy snacking habits.

JCPL hosting
Jay County Public Library is celebrating “Love Your Library” month with an appreciation and promotion campaign that will offer weekly prize drawings.
Patrons to the library will have a card and receive one punch for a visit, checking out material and attending a special program. Each full card will qualify for a prize drawing.
JCPL will also host an afternoon at the movies at 3:30 p.m. Friday with a showing of “Smallfoot.” Other events include a “crafternoon” Feb. 14, family trivia Feb. 15, a craft event Feb. 23 and a breakout game Feb. 27.
Patrons can also vote on which new feature — a mobile charging station, a collection of outdoor games for borrowing or child-sized furniture for the children’s area — should be added at the facility.
Offering
Purdue Cooperative Extension Services and Jay County Drug Prevention Coalition will host the Strengthening Families Program for families with children between the ages of 10 and 14 years old.
The seven-week program will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays starting Feb. 11 at Trinity United Methodist, 323 S. Meridian St. Each week will feature group sessions on topics such as following rules, encouraging positive behavior and protecting youth.
The class is free but registration by Feb. 7 is required by calling (260) 726-4707 or emailing [email protected].
