Need something to do during an unpredictable winter that has been marked by frigid temperatures, snow, ice and fog?
Jay County Public Library is ready.
The library is hosting a crafternoon event from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday and a family trivia game at 4 p.m. Friday.
During the craft session, participants will make sock snowmen. All supplies for the craft will be provided.
The trivia game is a “bring your won device” event on which groups will submit answers via their smartphone, tablet or laptop. (Those who do not have access to a device can borrow one from the library.)
Also this month, the library is offering an opportunities to make a no-sew blanket for a local charity. The second such session is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 23.
And on Feb. 27, JCPL will host its “In Love with Homework” breakout game. It is for those in third grade or older and begins at 6:30 p.m.
