It’s time for big ideas.
Jay County Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will again team up with the Walmart Foundation to sponsor an innovation competition for Jay County High School students.
The competition offers students the opportunity to design and present a new or improve invention or innovation. The process will include workshops during school hours and time with mentors to help bring ideas to reality.
Projects will be presented during a Community Innovation Fair during school hours on May 3.
The grand prize for the competition is $500. The runner-up will receive $250, and the second runner-up will get $100.
For more information, or to enter, pick up a form at the JCHS front office or contact the chamber at (260) 726-4481.
