Ag construction dominates permits
The largest construction project to receive a building permit in December was a swine confined feeding operation.
A permit was issued to A&J Swine Operation for a $1,250,000 facility to be built at 1784 S. 500 East.
Other permits were issued in December to H&G Agriculture Holding LLC for a $50,000 grain bin at 5183 N. 450 East, Gary Weaver for a $20,000 pole building at 5677 N. 250 West, Kent Homan and Homan Properties LLC for a $90,000 grain bin at 371 S. 850 West, Joseph M. Eicher for a $3,500 barn addition at 4211 E. 600 North, Nathan McClain for a $6,500 building addition at 310 South St., Pennville, Rodney Miles for an $8,000 storage building addition at 1398 W. 300 South, Samuel S. Schwartz for a $30,000 buggy shed and living quarters at 8545 N. 750 East, Eric Morehous for a $3,000 porch at 6175 N. 200 East, James Hawn for a $20,000 addition at 1577 S. Como Road, Matt Billington and Evergreen Rentals for a $50,000 addition at 2957 Southtown Place, Joseph J. Schwartz for a $2,000 storage shed at 6829 N. 200 East, and Wayne Grile for a $30,000 pole barn at 805 S. Meridian St., Redkey.
