Richard and Carol Jones celebrate 50th
Richard and Carol (Smith) Jones, Dunkirk, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 1.
They were married Feb. 1, 1969 at the Dunkirk Nazarene Church.
They are the parents of three children:
Lester D. Jones (deceased)
James J. Jones (Kristy Dean), Portland
Donald V. Jones (Jenniffer Edwards), Dunkirk
Richard has been a Jay County resident for 58 years and Carol 52 years.
Richard was a CNC operator at Bluffton Motor Works and retired in 2015.
Carol was an LPN and she retired in 2015.
Richard is an Army veteran. The couple met at Indiana Glass Co., where Richard worked in the Hand Shop and Carol worked in the Sorting Room.
They will be renewing their vows and will have a carry-in at the Dunkirk Nazarene Fellowship Hall on Feb. 2 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
