Fined and sentenced 

Ashley G.J. Cavanaugh, 21, 106 W. Main St., Bryant, pleaded guilty to battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for one year with all but 22 days suspended and given 22 days credit for 11 days served. Assessed court costs of $185, fined $1, placed on formal probation for 11 months and ordered to pay a domestic violence prevention and treatment fee of $50. Charges of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor, were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
