Shiela Kenworthy

Shiela Kenworthy, 73, of Westfield passed away on June 30, 2019 at Pineknoll Rehabilitation Center in Winchester. She was born on November 21, 1945, to Carl and Viola (Dubuisson) Arnold in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi.

Shiela worked as a medical technician for over 40 years. She had a wonderful faith in God and was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church where she was involved with the Silver Angels. Shiela loved the outdoors, the sun and the beach, baking and Pepsi. Shiela’s children and grandchildren were the joy in her life. She was the glue that held her family together. Shiela showed us grace, lived through faith and reminded us that this isn’t the end.

She is survived by her daughters, Paula (Derek) Hawkey, Julie (Garrett) Coble, and Laura (Scott) Marston; sons, Joshua (Tanya) Rines and Andrew Rines; sister, Phyllis Arnold; brother, Al (Vicki) Arnold; 15 grandchildren, Zachary, Ryan, Logan, Jeremy, Amanda (Robert), Kyle (Victoria), Gunnar, Nathan, Isabella, Sofie, Zara, Knox, Brody, Trevor (Abby) and Tori; and three great-grandchildren, Raylee, Norah and Ethan.

In addition to her parents, Shiela was preceded in death by her brothers, Carlos Arnold and Dennis Arnold.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 5, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17102 Springmill Road in Westfield, with visitation from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the church. Rev. Mike McKinley will officiate. Inurnment will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis at a later date.
