Patrick Walter O'Brien, 28, of Eaton, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 8, 2019, at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
Pat was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, on Nov. 2, 1990, a son of Beverly Ann (Maxwell) and James Walter O'Brien. He was a graduate of Penn Foster High School and worked in production at Tyson Foods in Portland, Indiana.
Pat was a miracle child with a fun-loving, quick-witted, jokester personality who never saw a dull moment. He enjoyed fishing, helping his brothers with construction projects, playing video games and spending time with his kids.
Pat is survived by his parents, Beverly and James; grandmother Mabel O’Brien; significant other Elizabeth Ann Baker; three sons, Patrick W. O'Brien Jr., Greysen B. O’Brien and Anakin I. O’Brien; two daughters, Madilyn L. O’Brien and Kira J. O’Brien; two brothers, James “Jimmy” Carty (wife: Connie) and James “Jimbo” O'Brien (wife: Jennifer); two sisters, Amy Carty and Brandy Miles (husband: John); and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Donnie Carty Jr.
Friends are invited to call Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 10 a.m. to noon at MJS Mortuaries – Redkey Chapel. Burial will be private at the family's convenience in Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey, Indiana.
Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries – Redkey Chapel.
