Oldies are coming to Fort Recovery.
The next Fort Recovery Friends of the Arts free concert will feature The Bulldogs at 7 p.m. Sunday at Hein Amphitheatre at Van Trees Park.
The Bulldogs, a Fort Wayne-based band, have been performing in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan for 30 years. Their set list includes hits from The Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Chuck Berry and The Righteous Brothers.

Free admission
From now until Labor Day, Minnetrista, in collaboration with Blue Star Museums, the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families and the Department of Defense, will be offering free admission to active duty military personnel, including those serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserves, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members.
Those who qualify must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (department ID) or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card.
Blue Star Families is a national, nonprofit network. Their worldwide membership includes military spouses, children, parents, and friends, as well as service members, veterans and civilians.

Seeking nominees
The Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame is seeking nominations for its 2019 class.
In order to be eligible, a veteran must have either been born in Indiana, entered military service in Indiana or lived in Indiana for a minimum of eight years. All branches of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible.
Nomination packets are available at imvhof.com/nominate. The deadline is Aug. 1.
