Probation violation
A Portland woman was arrested Monday for violating her probation.
Kala L. Chowning, 27, 1685 W. 100 North, was arrested on a warrant for violating her probation on the charges of assisting a criminal, a Level 6 felony, and theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
She was booked at 3:57 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held without bond.
Possession, invasion
A Redkey man was arrested on two charges Monday evening.
Daniel R. Miller, 24, 1 S. Union St., was arrested on the preliminary charges of possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, and invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked at 5:51 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held on a $4,000 bond.
Failure to appear
A Hartford City man was arrested Monday night for failing to appear in court.
Michael T. Gannon Jr., 25, 515 S. Cherry St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of theft and unlawful possession of a syringe, both Level 6 felonies. He was also preliminarily charged with resisting an officer, a Class A misdemeanor.
Gannon was booked at 7:16 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there without bond.
