Thank you for supporting event
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
Thank you to everyone who came to Dunkirk City Park and celebrated the 4th of July with us.
Thank you to Tom Johnson, park labor, Ray Jones, Roy Padgett and West Jay Community Center for all of your help. Thank you to the 3-on-3 participants, the helpers and to the honored 3-on-3 tournament director, Lynyrd Goetz.
Thank you to all the churches that donated baked goods for the cakewalk and to Delta Theta Tau sorority for their help with the cakewalk. Thank you to Nancy Renner and Jessica Jones for the face painting. Thank you to all the participants of the hula hoop cornhole and liter toss contests. Thank you to all the vendors who came. A special thank you to all the dedicated volunteers for their support. It was greatly appreciated.
Words cannot express our appreciation to all the businesses, organizations, churches and individuals that donated to the activities for the day. Without your help, the day would not be possible and our community and surrounding area would not have the opportunity to proudly celebrate our day of freedom. Thank you so much.
Thank you Jack Ronald and The Commercial Review and the News and Sun for your coverage of our event.
