Thomas Rose

Thomas Rose, age 82, a resident of Portland, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Indiana University Health Jay Hospital in Portland.
Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Arizona – Tucson. He was a teacher for several years at Amphitheater High School in Tucson, Arizona, and worked at Jay Products in Portland. He enjoyed trivia, playing the guitar and music.
Thomas Rose was born May 16, 1937, in Richmond, Indiana, the son of Harold and Ruth Elizabeth (Ludwig) Rose. He was married on April 11, 1989, to Karen Johnson.

His beloved wife — Karen Rose, Portland, Indiana
Two daughters — Michelle Frazee (husband: Michael), Portland, Indiana, and Erin Rose, Elkhart, Indiana
One brother — Stan Rose (wife: Bev), Missoula, Montana
Two grandsons
There will be no services.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Rose, and a sister, Jane Ricker.
Arrangements are entrusted to Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.
