The Beiswangers left other swimmers in their wake Monday.
Raif, Creed, Tony and Rockland Beiswanger totaled 10 individual victories in leading the Jay County Summer Swim Team to a 1,404.5-544.5 win over state-line rival Fort Recovery Eels at Jay County High School.
Raif (9-10-year-old boys) and Creed Beiswanger (11-12-year-old boys) were among nine Jay County swimmers to grab three wins each. Raif was first in butterfly, individual medley and short freestyle, and Creed won long freestyle, butterfly and IM.
Tony (8-and-younger) and Rockland (9-10-year-old) were two of seven to get a pair of victories apiece for Jay County. Tony beat the field in the long freestyle and butterfly, while Rockland touched the wall first in the long freestyle and breaststroke.
Maria Laux (8-and-younger), Ben Fisher (8-and-younger), Morgan DeHoff (11-12-year-old), Mara Bader (13-14-year-old), Josh Monroe (13-14-year-old), Eliza Bader (15-and-older) and Chase McFarland (15-and-older) all had three wins apiece.
Jacob Monroe (11-12-year-old), Ralph Link (13-14-year-old), Erica Hathaway (15-and-older), Vivienne Kunkler (15-and-older) and Kyle Sanders (15-and-older) picked up two wins each.
Kali Wendel, Lila Wendel, Elly Byrum, Finn Hemmelgarn, Kaitlyn Fisher, Lani Muhlenkamp, Sam Wiggins, Lauren Fisher, Aubrey Millspaugh, Matthew Fisher, Wyatt Kunkler, Konner Sommers and Griffin Mann each had one victory.
Makenna Huelskamp was Fort Recovery’s lone triple winner, as she was first in the 9-10-year-old freestyle, butterfly and IM.
Tiegan Fortkamp (13-14-year-old) was first in the backstroke and 200 IM, while Aubrey Shuttleworth, Joelle Kaup and Audra Bubp had one win apiece.
