In area courts
Several area residents were fined and sentenced recently in Celina (Ohio) Municipal Court.
Caleb M. Heitkamp, 26, 635 Siegrist-Jutte Road, Fort Recovery, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of willful or wanton disregard for safety. The original charge was operating a vehicle under the influence. Heitkamp was sentenced to 30 days in jail, all suspended, fined $430 and assessed court costs. His license was suspended for six months.
Others fined and sentenced were Doris A. Muhlenkamp, 57, Fort Recovery, speeding, $25; Spencer N. Kaup, 18, Fort Recovery, speeding, $25; Kelly Lorenn, 44, Portland, speeding, $25; Ellen K. Sudhoff, 58, Fort Recovery, speeding, $15; William J. Staugler, 60, Fort Recovery, speeding, $15; Amanda A. Evers, 21, Bryant, speeding, $15; Ryan F. Vagedes, 20, Fort Recovery, seatbelt violation, $20.
