Grant directed to Bryant department
Bryant Fire Department is getting a financial boost.
Jay County farmer Greg Westgerdes directed $2,500 to the fire department through the America’s Farmers Grow Communities Program, which is sponsored by the Bayer Fund.
The program partners with farmers to support non-profit organizations in rural communities. Farmers selected direct the funding to the organization of their choice.
Over the course of a decade, America’s Farmers Grow Communities has donated more than $33 million to thousands of non-profit organizations around the country.
