Go Ivy event is set for Tuesday

There are a pair of opportunities this month to learn more about Ivy Tech.

The community college will hold Go Ivy Day events on March 5 and 20 in Muncie.

Tuesday’s event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Maring-Hunt Library, 2005 S. High St. The March 20 session will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at Kennedy Library, 1700 W. McGalliard Road.

Information on admissions, financial aid, orientation and career services will be available.

Hosting fest

Jay County Visitors and Tourism Bureau will host the Jay County Fiber Arts Festival March 8 and 9 at Jay Community Center.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 8 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 9, with activities including storytelling and recycle craft. For more information, visit fiberarts.visitjaycounty.com. 

Classes available

Mercer Health in Coldwater, Ohio, is hosting several classes in March.

On Tuesday, there will be a big brother/big sister class at 7 p.m. Childbirth education classes are scheduled for 6 p.m. March 6, 13, and 20, and a breastfeeding class will be held at 6 p.m. March 7.
