Arts Place would like to pass the following opportunity on to the artists residing in East Central Indiana. Indiana Artisan supports entrepreneurs who create high-quality art, crafts and value-added foods in the Hoosier state.
The longtime local arts organization is encouraging area artists to pursue the Indiana Artisan distinction as a means of growing success for the artist and of developing a greater community appreciation for the arts to benefit all local artists.
The state’s highest-quality artists and food producers are encouraged to apply to have their work designated Indiana Artisan.
The 2019 juries will convene in September to determine which art and value-added foods will become part of the organization that coordinates a spring Marketplace, sells work in a store in the French Lick Resort, and provides networking and business-development education for its members, among other benefits. Applications are due Aug. 1.
The application, timeline, guidelines and a listing of benefits can be found under the Join tab at indianaartisan.org.
