Battery, resisting 

A Portland man was arrested Sunday morning on several charges. 

Cesar C. Gonzalez, 43, 447 S. Meridian St., was arrested on the preliminary charges of battery, a Level 6 felony; resisting an officer and criminal mischief, Class A misdemeanors; and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. 

He was booked at 6:33 a.m. into Jay County Jail and was released on a $4,500 bond. 

Possession, OWI 

A Portland man was arrested early Saturday on several drug-related charges.

Bradley P. LeMaster, 42, 4443 W. 800 South, was arrested on the preliminary charges of possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor. 

He was booked at 12:08 a.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held on a $4,500 bond. 



Probation violation 

A Portland man was arrested Saturday night for violating his probation. 

Dustin S. Stephen, 29, 411 E. Walnut St., was arrested on a warrant for violating his probation on the original charge of theft, a Level 6 felony. 

He was booked at 10:21 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held on a $800 cash bond.
